Horace is very shy at the beginning of the play and lets his sister direct his life, even thought he is uncomfortable with what she is doing. Identify and descreibe two actions that Horace takes that show he is beginning to gain confidence in himself.
Horace lets his sister do everything for him. but in the middle of the story he gets everything together and realizes that what hes doing is'nt right... So he gains confedence and talks to her. one of the ways he shows this is that he talks to the girl he likes and asks her to the dance. Another way he shows his strength in confidence is when he backs down from dancing with the girl, but realizes that he might as well go out and dance with her, and in the end....he does.

Zaroff explains hos his man-hunting game is played. Summerize the rules for the game. Also, what is your attitude about hunting in general?
the rules were that he had to survie for three days on the island, he only had a knife to protect himself from danger if he wins he would be free. In order for him to win he would have to elemanate Zaroff from the game.... if you ask me, hunting is'nt all that bad,yeah you have to kill inoscente animals (or humans in this case) but honestly if you think about it the animal that you hunt is ment to die. I mean what would the animal think "should i die by a knife,bullet,bowanarrow,ect, or by some other animal?)so i think its o.k.
